WANTING PERMISSION FOR RESEARCH?
SAFE is committed to encouraging and facilitating research initiatives that inform the treatment, management, and understanding of sexual offenders. SAFE’s research committee facilitates internal research projects and program evaluations, and also works in partnership with a number of Universities to provide for the placement of research students within our organisation.
Staff at SAFE frequently attend and present at both national and international conferences, and also benefit from presentations and training given by researchers visiting Auckland.
The research committee meets regularly to consider research proposals and discuss research matters. If you would like more information about research pertaining to SAFE and the treatment of sexual offending, please email research@safenetwork.org.nz
